    Where do we fish?

Chequamegon Bay:  Located in Lake Superior between Ashland, WI and Bayfield, WI, Chequamegon Bay is a premier trophy smallmouth bass destination for many bass enthusiasts.  At 12 miles long and 2-6 miles wide, Chequamegon Bay is a relatively large shallow bay (compared to the rest of Lake Superior) with a mix of sand, rock and other man made structures.  Many streams and rivers deposit sediment into Chequamegon Bay which gives it its rich diversity of fish and wildlife, including world class fishing for smallmouth bass.  The Wisconsin DNR has created aggressive smallmouth bass regulations on Chequamegon Bay to protect spawning fish and due in large part to their slow growing season.  The bulk of the early season is catch and release only; after that only one fish is allowed to be kept per day, and that fish must be over 22 inches - a true testament to the trophy fishery that is Chequamegon Bay!

  • Green Bay:  Not much needs to be said about Green Bay - it truly is one of the hottest destinations right now in North America for both muskies and walleyes!  Green Bay offers both numbers of fish and true trophies to anglers willing to put their time in on the "big water" both casting and trolling.  Whether looking for your first musky or your personal best, or looking for an unbeleivable day on the water walleye fishing, you owe it to yourself to fish Green Bay with Captain Lucas!
