Joel DeBoer

Joel DeBoer Wisconsin Fishing Guide

Joel is a Professional Musky Fisherman, Outdoor Writer,  Internet Personality, Outdoor Educator, and Tournament Angler.  He has spent his life pursuing big toothy critters in the waters of the upper Midwest and Canada, all the while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors in “God’s Country.”

Through countless days and nights on the water, Joel has worked hard to uncover big-fish locations while perfecting the techniques necessary to produce trophy pike and muskies fish from them. His boat is not only responsible for some of the largest muskies caught and released yearly in North-Central Wisconsin, he is personally responsible for numerous awards for muskies caught and released by both him and his boat guests over the years.

As an outdoor writer and educator, Joel is involved in a myriad of fishing-related promotional and educational events including teaching fishing techniques through both classroom and on-the-water clinics. He is active on the internet, providing articles and fishing reports to various fishing-related web sites in addition to appearing on television and doing web-radio shows. Joel is an experienced tournament angler, as well as a published outdoor author having featured articles in Musky Hunter and Muskie magazines; in addition, he is a contributor as one of the "Ellis Experts" to On Wisconsin Outdoors magazine.  Joel authors his on-line blog "Guide Notes" on WisconsinOutdoorFun.com, his highly-acclaimed syndicated column, "The Guides Corner", and is a featured blogger for the ABC affiliate WAOW Outdoors site.

Todd Bohm Wisconsin Fishing GuideTodd Bohm

Todd is a native of the greater Wausau area, having grown up hunting and fishing the streams, rivers, and lakes of Central and Northern Wisconsin. Todd targets a variety of species with a passion. His willingness to implement new techniques lends to his continued success in the outdoors, be it stream trout fishing, finding walleyes, or targeting big catfish at night.

Todd Bohm is a life long educator with a commitment for working with youth, including his work as a guide for the annual Marathon County Youth/Mentor Turkey Hunt.

In addition to being a published outdoor author, including his role as one of the "Ellis Experts" for On Wisconsin Outdoors magazine, his affiliations include the National Wild Turkey Federation and Quality Deer Management Association. Chris Jennings Wisconsin Fishing GuideChris Jennings

Chris is no stranger to the array of fish species in the greater Stevens Point area. He has worked in virtually every facet of the outdoor sports industry for more than a decade.

Currently, Chris writes and sell advertising for the largest outdoor publication in the state, Wisconsin Outdoor News.

While he has been guiding since 1996, Chris has focused the past few years on employing a scientific approach to the Central Wisconsin flowages in his back yard.

Locally we have access to over 20,000 acres of water and as Chris knows, determining where NOT to fish is a major key to success.

Whether you choose to pursue smallies, largemouth, walleyes, cats, pike, or muskies with Chris, you WILL catch fish!

It is more important to him however, that on your next trip out, you are armed with a better ability to eliminate unproductive water. In addition, Chris will help you find the confidence to select the best techniques for the water that remains.

Captain Lucas Molepske

Captain Lucas Molepske lives in Central WI with his understanding wife Tammy and adorable daughter Addisen.  Growing up, Captain Lucas loved to be in the outdoors, and that hasn't changed one bit.  He is an USCG certified Captain as well as a WI licensed guide, meaning he has all the necessary requirements for guiding on the Great Lakes.  Captain Lucas loves to fish the big waters of our state as they offer tremendous opportunities for world class muskies and walleye.  He feels lucky to be able to fish all over the state and country either preparing for his next tournament or simply exploring new waters. Over the course of his career, Captain Lucas has learned a plethora of techniques and when and where to implement them.

On any given day, his guests could be casting, trolling open water, or rigging live bait - he is able and willing to do whatever it takes to put fish in the boat for his guests.  A personal goal of Captain Lucas each trip is to make you a better fisherman or woman - he wants his guests to take away more than "a couple spots" from a day in his boat.  You can rest assured that you will benefit from his experiences, knowledge, and passion for fishing and take away a rewarding, educational and memorable experience; after all, as Captain Lucas says, "The reason I fish is for the excitement and hopefully every fish in the net, regardless of size brings back the memories of the first."
